Fortnightly with Burngreave Ashram:
THE GATHERINGThese are held monthly on the first Mondays from 12 noon to 2.30 pm. At 12 there is an informal sharing and at 12.30 there is a bring and share vegetarian lunch. The seminar is held in the Multifaith Chapel and Library which is in the basement of Burngreave Ashram. It starts at 1.15 the presenter speaks for up to 30 minutes, followed by about 45 minutes for comments and questions.

This is a fellowship group, meeting from 7pm to 9.30pm on alternate Monday evenings in each other's homes for a bring and share meal, followed by prayers, meditation or liturgy, and ending with a topic or Bible study. For more details please phone 0114 243 6688.

INTERFAITH SEMINAR AND MEAL at Burngreave Ashram

The Saturday Study Group (formerly Jesus and Christianity) has started to place online some of their individual reflections on Jesus. This is an ongoing project. Click here to read the contributions so far.
The group continued in 2016 as the ADULT BIBLE SCHOOL.
The group meets monthly on the first Saturday, 1pm to 3pm. An optional lunch (£2.00) is usually available at 12.15. In the first part of each afternoon there is an introductory talk by the Rev Dr John Vincent, and in the second part an individual member of the group introduces a theme chosen in advance.

LONG WEEKENDS with Sheffield Ashrams
At walking distance Ashram Community Homes in Sheffield.
Sheffield Ashram Long Weekends are designed to give an experience of 3-4 days of life together; enable people to come and stay in Ashram Community Houses; provide an opportunity to do practical work together; and be a place and time for people outside the community to come and experience our life together. Long Weekend programmes begin on Thursdays (or Fridays if more convenient for you) and go on until Monday afternoons.

As well as the planned retreats, Ashram welcomes people who would like to spend a day or two, or more, sharing Ashram life and staying at an Ashram house. These are inner city homes where individuals have their own bedrooms, but share all other facilities such as bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and cooking (vegetarians and vegans catered for). CAFE CHURCH AT BURNGREAVE ASHRAM
COOKED LUNCH (optional) at 12.30-1pm: £3.00
On each first Sunday an ecumenical group meets from 12.30
followed at 1pm by various elements of a non-church or post-church 'Church'.
Members lead various parts in turn: songs, meditation and shared concerns on an agreed theme.
