LONG WEEKENDS with Sheffield Ashrams
At walking distance
Ashram Community Homes in Sheffield.
Sheffield Ashram Long Weekends are designed to give an experience
of 3-4 days of life together; enable members, associates and non-members to come and stay in Ashram Community Houses;
give those who live close by an opportunity to find out more about our activities;
provide an opportunity to do practical work together; and be a place and time for people outside
the community to come and experience our life together. Long Weekend programmes begin on Thursdays
(or Fridays if more convenient for you) and go on until Monday afternoons.
On 29 February there will be an Open Projects and Houses meeting in Sheffield.
This group usually meets at Ashram House, 77 Rock Street, on first Saturdays, 2pm - 3pm.
Information about the new term will be posted here soon.
These take place on the first Monday of the month in the Multifaith Chapel and Library at Burngreave. Sessions start with a bring and share lunch
at 12.30, with the seminar at 1.15, facilitated by a member of the group or a visitor.
Please download the flyer for full details including themes of forthcoming seminars and dates of future sessions.
All are most welcome - please publicise if possible.
A group of members and friends meet on the first and third Sundays at 86 Spital Hill for a bring and share meal.
The meal is at 12.30pm, the meeting is at 1pm and we close at 2.15pm. We take it in turns to prepare a basic dish for the meal
to go with whatever is brought. The general topic regularly changes. Please email
firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
